I chose the Sprinter Trueno I won from the first event I played. Total Races: 3 Once again pretty basic event, tracks get a bit more tricky and the opponents are a bit better too. Not all that hard, but a step up from the previous events. I used my CR-X here again. Total Races: 3 Pretty simple, a bit harder since a lot of Mid-engine cars are higher end.
Still not that hard. I used an NSX I had won. Total Races: 3 Pretty simple again, I used my CR-X here, it is a light car and with a lot of parts it made easy work here, but be aware, all the cars here are B or C class. Total Races: 3 Not a very hard event, the only issue is finding a car to use for it. There are only several cars that come over the weight limit that you can get.
I just waited and got a Ferrari Scaglietti. The tracks are all pretty simple still, the opponents are a bit harder, but it is still fairly easy with a good built car. Here we have more specific races, like only V12, or that the car must be boosted or normally aspirated. These races all use the real tracks and not the test tracks like the Proving Grounds.
The tracks are decent, not too long or short, the opponents are the same, not hard, but not too easy. Total Races: 3 Pretty easy race, used my CR-X here again, nothing too hard, finally some real tracks though. Tracks and opponents are pretty basic.
Pretty easy opponents and tracks. Easy tracks, easy opponents. Total Races: 3 Not a bad event, some nice cars, nothing hard though, tracks are pretty easy as well. Total Races: 3 Not a bad event, some really nice muscle cars in action here.
I used my upgraded Camaro Z28 here and it made easy work. The tracks are all pretty easy, but there are some hard and quick turns on Laguna Seca and Road Atlanta, so be aware. Total Races: 3 This is a pretty easy event, the car can't be turbocharged or supercharged, but there are plenty of good non turbo cars.
I used one of my R4 Porsches here and made it easy work. Total Races: 4 This is a pretty decent race, nice amount of laps, good tracks, good cars. Nothing you can get more out of this event. Some key notes is the corkscrew turn on Laguna Seca, a killer if you don't brake. On road Atlanta be sure to brake properly for the small turn near the beginning it is after your first turn to the right. Nothing too crazy about Sebring or New York, just some sharp turns, just make sure you brake properly.
I used my Camaro Z28 which had a powertrain swap and the rest of the upgrades making it a S class which made this pretty easy.
Not too bad of an event, good opponents and the tracks aren't too bad. It is all of the Test Tracks pieced all in ones, a lot of turns, a lot of sharp turns and it is long. The opponents are really good though, they all keep up and the cars are all very good. The tracks aren't that bad, but they are a bit longer then previous ones. Total Races: 4 A fun event, the tracks are fairly easy but a bit long. The opponents are a good crowd though.
All S class cars and good ones at that. From a specific type of car from a certain company, or any car from a certain company. These events can be a bit harder because some of them have a top end car that has some high end stats. Total Races: 3 This a pretty easy event, just get an Golf GTi and upgrade it pretty decently and it will easily beat the R Nothing suprising from these courses all generally easy.
Total Races: 3 Basic stuff once again, no high end Integras. I used the VIS Integra with some basic upgrades and it was easy. All the tracks are basic ones, no super long tracks or anything with any suprises or tricks. Total Races: 3 Pretty easy event. All MR2s and there aren't any high class ones. I used the Border MR2 with some basic upgrades and it was easy. The tracks are all easy as well. The Tuning S4 can be an annoyance, but I had one of the R3 Audi racing cars which made easy work of this event, even lapped a couple of the oppoents in such a short course.
Total Races: 3 This one can be hard if you don't have the right car. The S15 can be quite annoying. Total Races: 3 This is a pretty good challenge, good cars and good tracks. The tracks are still fairly easy, but you have Silverstone which has several hard consecutive turns and then you have Laguna Seca which has the corkscrew turn.
Other then those, it is pretty simple. Total Races: 4 Ah finally a good test of skill, at least for me. You have some decent tracks, good amount of laps, and mixed in are some good cars. I had the same car as the top opponent and there were some close races. This event, if using the same car as I did, is more about how to handle the track then it is about who is the fastest.
Just remember the corkscrew on Laguna Seca and the 2nd turn on Road Atlanta. New York is in reverse which can be a bit annoying for the first turn, but still easy. Sebring is still easy as well. Total Races: 4 Another good event, good cars, good tracks. Here I used a Ferrari , though not the best, I had it in my garage and already upgraded so I used it. Total Races: 4 A great event in my opinion. It kept up, but the handling and braking on my car were a lot more to outmatch it. All around good courses and opponents.
Total Races: 4 Fairly long races, great tracks, great cars. You can't ask for more. This event can be a pain because of the GTR, it is a good quick car, but if you have the proper upgrades and set up it shouldn't be an issue. I used a Lamborghini Gallardo with a bunch of upgrades to make it high S-class. Total Races: 3 Pretty easy event, easy tracks and there is the hp limit so the computer isn't hard.
Total Races: 3 Pretty simple event again, similar to the hp event. I used the same car I used in the D-Series events and in the hp event, my beloves Sprinter Trueno. Was able to get it to hp and C for class, so I can use it for the C-Series races and this event.
Easy tracks, small laps, easy event all around. I think it is one of the best choices, it is a B car and comes at HP, I put the Race Intercooler on which bumped it to and then I put all the other upgrades on weight, brakes The courses are fairly short too, so if you tune it, it is best to tune for acceleration over top speed.
I tossed on some upgrades, like better brakes, tires Really worked wonders here. Courses are all nice and short and easy.
Kept all of the upgrades weight reduction, brakes The courses are the same as the previous ones, short, easy, same with the opponents. Total Races: 4 I was able to use mu B class IS it had hp and lb-ft torque and it did a pretty good job here. The opponents keep up pretty well, but I had a lot better upgrades. Overall the races are pretty easy, nothing too hard here. Total Races: 4 This was a pretty good event in my opinion.
The GT3 really is a killer car and can give you a good run for your money, it has a great acceleration in first and second and handles pretty good. It outhandled and outperformed the others, but usually the GT3 would start the beginning of each track slightly ahead, but after that they got blown away.
Total Races: 4 Wow, this event showed me a whole different side to a car that I didn't expect much out of. I would suggest no other car for this event, the hp it comes stock with hp , the , and the hp events. It handles like a race car without being a race car class, it has great accelerating, braking, everything. The tracks aren't too bad, getting a bit longer now, but still easy. Total Races: 4 Just as easy as the previous event, again I used the Zonda C12 here, upgraded close to hp, really easy event all around.
Getting a bit longer track wise and a lot more laps. Overall, still easy and good amount of credits. Total Races: 4 Though I expected this to be more of a challenge then the previous one, it wasn't. I was keeping a larger distane with the McLaren here then I did with the Saleen from the last event. The only hard part about this event is the tracks. I used the Pagani Zonda C12 here once again, upgraded to be as close to hp as possible. Total Races: 3 Not a hard race, easy with a good upgraded Civic or Golf.
I used my CR-X again here since I hit this race early in the game. Very easy courses and opponents. The APR Celica is honestly a joke, it has some power, but not a lot at all.
Easy and short courses as well. Courses are a easy, more laps per course though. I used the Top Secret S15 here, really easy win. The tracks are shorter and are just Mustangs and Camaros. I have found this best for Nissan Speedway. I can take turns about mph and I top out at With this setup, you dont have to use your brakes on Nissan Spedway.
