The jets let the bubble in and the leakage takes place where they mount to the shell. If you notice a jet is leaking, replacing the gasket should block the leak. The blower only blows water into the jets. Since the water does not stream through it, you will find any leakage here in the most unusual cases. The acrylic shell that you sit on has a lower chance of a crack. When you get a crack on the acrylic, drill small holes at the two ends of the crack to prevent the crack from spreading.
Plast-aid or Epoxy should be a great solution for the crack on your acrylic shells. Get the Epoxy paint to match the color for a seamless finish. A hot tub is luxurious but there are tons of places where it could leak. Your hot tub is fundamentally hundreds of pipes and machinery put together with countless joints and fittings in the shape of a bowl held together with the heavy foam fired onto them.
The complication is, the leak in your tub could be hidden under the bottom where you can barely see it and fix it. You might have no clue how many leaks you have in your hot tub. If the acrylic becomes to weak, it will be more likely to scratch and crack.
Only use sanitization, ozone, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and other systems that are approved by the manufacturer. Bringing anything not approved by the manufacturer into contact with the tub has the potential to compromise the surface. The heat can influence the expansion and contraction of the surface, weakening the surface and increasing the likelihood of cracks. From shoes and toys to dogs and fallen tree branches, anything other than human bodies, swimwear and approved hot tub accessories must stay out of the hot tub.
Very rarely, a hot tub will crack or be scratched due to a problem with the materials or workmanship. If this is the case, document the damage and contact the manufacturer immediately to put warranty protections into motion. For any surface damage that falls under warranty, contact the manufacturer to seek repair or replacement. Check your local listings and ads for someone who specializes in repairing acrylic hot tub surfaces. Ask what must be done before they come on-site to do the work.
